| Aquatic Bodyboard Co. proudly presents the launch of The Surf Squirt Bodyboard, an original custom-designed board that provides a smooth, effortless way to ride the waves.
This patented design with comfortable "joystick" style handle allows riders of all skill levels to catch a great ride.
When going out through the surf, you can use it as a dive plane to hold yourself under water in order to get out safely to the other side of the wave and enjoy the ride.
While you're waiting for your first set, you can sit on the board. It will hold your head above the surface so you can rest.
When catching a wave, you can use your legs for power, and your free hand to paddle. If you hold the board on the face of the wave, the board will help you to catch the wave. As soon as you catch it, you must turn down the face and across the wave to avoid outrunning the wave. It's simple: Left hand left, right hand right. You want the board in the hand that is in the wave. Hold the board under you and you go faster. Hold it in front of you, and you'll slow down.
You can also hook the handle on your collar bone on your riding side and paddle with both hands. When you go over the top, grab the handle as you go faster. Turn across the wave down the beach.
When travelling across the face of the wave, when the wave walls up and starts to close out, you can push the handle toward the wave. Due to the bouyance and speed, and with the help of your free hand, you can go under and out the back side of the wave safely. Due to the face that you have no fingers over the edges of the board, your hand is behind the handle and the board becomes a shield to protect you from the ocean floor. The shell of the board will slide over most obsticles. Most kids preferred escape method is to pull up on the "joystick" handle using speed and momentum. You'll turn up the face, shoot through the lip into the air and over the wave. This is due to the low pressure on the inside curved surface on the high fin when you are hanging onto. This will allow you to turn upward.
